Let's start this post of by introducing my new favourites:
Mr J and Harley Quinn!
When we were younger, we believed in fairy tales and superheroes. Happily ever afters and waiting for someone to rescue the damsel in distress. However, when we grew up, we relate better to the villains and tend to understand why they do what they do and I relate perfectly to Joker and Harley.
"I am not a monster, I am just ahead of the curve." - The Joker
Superheroes have an image to uphold; the equality, the justice, etc. I have never heard of a superhero getting sued before, have you?
Everybody tends to be bias in some ways or another, to be entirely equal to everybody is more or less impossible.
The Joker and Harley Quinn, to me, are just people portraying the difference of each people. Harley does everything for love and The Joker is a legend for being psychotic. They are bias, be it for love or for humour and revenge. Behind the psychotic side of both of them, there is stories that minority bothered to understand, whereas the majority goes straight to being judgemental. Most people are in similar state with them isn't it.
However, the thing is,
They don't care.
No shit, no crap about what another thinks.
I am not inferring that what they do is right, but their attitude towards life is something people should learn from.
"You can't deny there's an element of glamour to these super criminals." - Harley Quinn
People like you and I should feel obligated to act and behave in our own style, our own true self. We are made to be unique, to be completely us and yet, most of us just wants to be 'normal' and blend in. Truth to be told,
There is no such thing as being normal.
Be yourself; do not let the opinions of any body else decides who you are.
We are made so differently so that one can fall in love with the other's differences to be perfect.
Be different, but most importantly, be happy for who you are. I dare you. :)
